Wie wählt man die perfekte Naturseife? Ein Ratgeber für jeden Hauttyp

How to choose the perfect natural soap? A guide for every skin type

Not every natural soap is suitable for every skin type. Dry, oily, sensitive, or normal skin – we show you what to look out for and which of our Tyrolean soaps is right for you.

Step 1: Determine your skin type

The first step to the perfect soap is an honest look at your own skin:

Dry skin → Olive oil and shea butter based soaps: moisturize, intensely nourish
Oily skin → Castor oil and coconut oil blends: deeply cleanse pores, regulate sebum production
Sensitive skin → Fragrance-free coconut milk soap: no essential oils, minimal irritation risk
Normal skin → Forest honey goat milk soap: mild, nourishing, with a warm citrus scent

Step 2: Recognize the right ingredients

The most important base oils and what they do:

✦ Olive oil – A classic for all skin types, rich in vitamin E, particularly mild
✦ Shea butter – Regenerates dry and cracked skin, anti-inflammatory
✦ Coconut oil – Deeply cleanses, creates creamy lather, antibacterial
✦ Castor oil – Regulates sebum production, ideal for oily skin
✦ Almond oil – Hypoallergenic, soothing, good for sensitive skin
✦ Calendula oil – Nourishing, gentle, ideal for irritated skin

Step 3: Scented or unscented?

Natural scents from essential oils make everyday life more pleasant – but they are not suitable for everyone.

If you like scents:
– Mornings: Citrus, lemongrass, peppermint – invigorating
– Evenings: Lavender, ylang-ylang, frankincense – calming
– Nature experience: Arolla pine, cedar – alpine wellness feeling

If you are sensitive to fragrances:
→ Fragrance-free coconut milk soap or sea salt soap – both without essential oils

Our recommendations for special needs

Sensitive skin & children → Fragrance-free coconut milk soap
Babies and allergy sufferers particularly benefit from the mild, fragrance-free formula without preservatives.

Skin problems & wellness → Sea salt soap
The natural exfoliating effect and minerals of sea salt help with psoriasis, eczema, or simply for velvety soft skin.

The bestseller → Forest honey-lemon goat milk soap
Forest honey cleanses antibacterially and moisturizes, goat milk nourishes with natural lactic acid and vitamins. A soap for almost everyone – especially popular as a gift.

How to make natural soaps last longer

✦ Use a soap dish with drainage – no standing water
✦ Let dry after use
✦ Store in a cool, dry place
A well-maintained natural soap lasts 4–6 weeks with daily use.
