Correct Handling of Candles

  • Burn your candle for at least 30-60 minutes to achieve a proper melt pool.
  • Trim wick to 7-10 mm
  • Do not burn for more than 4 hours
  • Use a heat-resistant candle holder
  • Keep away from flammable objects
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep away from children and pets
  • Do not burn in a draft
  • Container candles: Do not touch, may be hot
  • Place the candle upright.
  • Do not place near a heat source
  • Smother the flame. Do not blow out.
  • Trim the edge if higher than 20 mm
  • Keep the liquid wax free of matches and debris
  • Do not move a burning candle
  • Never use a liquid to extinguish
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm between candles
  • e.g. Scented tea lights: Do not burn in a warmer
  • Remove packaging before use
  • Votive candles: This candle liquefies, use a suitable container
  • Floating candles: Use in a suitable bowl filled with water
  • Tea lights only: Use in containers with adequate air circulation
